The Magic Bracket center supports will allow the Magic C Ring to pass over it! Our patent-pending ring looks like our regular ring when installed on the rod, but will magically pass over the center support brackets, allowing our rods to be used for one way draws or split draws on larger windows.
Use brackets with 1 1/2" projections for hanging tapestries; use 3" projections for most single layer window treatments; use 6" projections for two layer treatments. Extra heavy brackets have a reinforcing rod welded from the base of the bracket to the underside of the rod cup and should be ordered if using heavy weight fabrics to prevent the bracket from sagging under full loaded weight.
Measure tip: To determine the recommended/guideline number of brackets just divide the length of each wall area by 45 ", always round up and add 1. For example, a 120" window would be 120/45, or 2.66, which would be 3. Then add 1 for a total of 4 brackets. For light fabrics or valances, of course, you may use fewer brackets, but generally do not span more than 82" without a center support. For heavy fabrics, use our heavy-duty brackets with the guideline number of brackets. Using the guideline number of brackets also hides all rod seams.
