A great alternative for adding color to your garden when you don't have a place to hang a planter or basket from, is a wall planter. The same plants that do well in hanging baskets work well with wall planters.
- Be creative, with the location of your wall planters… gates, fences, and any exterior wall will benefit from some well placed planters.
- Use a couple large planters to accent an entranceway or garage, or create a lush tropical setting by covering an exterior wall, fence or deck railing at different heights with wall planters draping flowers and greenery.
- Some widely used plants for wall planters are; Browallia, Brown Eyed Susan Vines, Fushias, Geraniums, Green ivy, Impatiens, Marigolds, Periwinkles, Petunias,
Vinca, and Viscaria
