An easy and relatively inexpensive way to update a lamps look is by simply changing the lampshade. Lampshades can sometimes look a bit tired. If yours have seen better days, consider updating it.
Suggested shade sizes are;
5" shades for chandeliers 14-15" shades for accent lamps 17-18" shades for table lamps 20-22" shades for floor lamps
