    Montclair Natural Cane Arm Chair

    Same caned back, same carved crest, but here the frame keeps its natural grain — warm honeyed wood instead of a painted finish, showing every knot and swirl beneath the varnish. The seat swaps plain linen for a small-scale woven check, taupe and cream knit tight enough to look almost tweed. Padded arm rests in the same fabric soften the carved scrollwork enough for a full afternoon's read. Cabriole legs, carved at the knee, carry the weight with the same old-world confidence as its whitewashed cousin. It's ready to pull up to a desk or table the moment it's unpacked.
