Aluminum Furniture

Aluminum is a silvery-white metallic element, having good conductive and thermal properties. It is used to form many hard, light-weight, corrosion-resistant parts. Aluminum furniture offers strength and durability at approximately 1/3 the weight of iron.

  • Doesn't rust, relatively lightweight, durable, minimum maintenance.
  • Low maintenance. Wipe the pieces down occasionally with water and detergent. Apply a coat of liquid wax at the start of each season.
  • Suitable for use almost anywhere. Lighter aluminum pieces may not be suitable in areas with high winds.

Metal or Steel Furniture

Metal furniture is formed from sheets and tubes of steel that is bent, cut and welded into durable cabinets, tables and other pieces of striking furniture.

  • Heavy and durable.
  • Can be used anywhere.
  • To maintain iron furniture wash it occasionally and apply liquid car wax at least twice a year. If you see any rust take care of it immediately with a wire brush and touch-up paint. Fast action will keep the rust from spreading. During the winter covering or storing any outdoor furniture inside will help to prolong its life.
