Not every trellis needs to be walked through. The Grecian Garden Arch Trellis is scaled instead to frame - diagonal lattice sides rising to a peaked pediment topped with a diamond accent, staged here as a backdrop for a lion-head wall fountain the way a proscenium frames a stage. It's a small piece of architecture built around whatever it surrounds, whether that's a fountain, a statue, or a garden bench tucked into its own alcove.
The bi-fold side panels slip into place without tools for setup, and fold flat again just as easily for off-season storage - a real advantage over the fixed-frame arbors elsewhere in the collection. Finished in a graphite powder coat over wrought iron, it holds its shape through the seasons whether or not anything ever climbs it. A few strands of clematis or jasmine at the base will eventually thread through the diagonal lattice, but the piece works just as well left bare around whatever it's framing.
