Faux bois has always been a bit of a magic trick — concrete or iron dressed up to fool the eye into seeing wood — and Briarhollow plays that trick beautifully, its crossed branches and circular medallion cast in metal but textured like real bark, knots and all. The washed gray finish looks like it's spent a decade in dappled shade, even brand new, which is exactly the point: this is a chair built for a garden that already looks like it's been there a while. Wide enough to seat two comfortably, it holds its shape through rain, sun, and the occasional forgotten cushion, equally at home tucked beside a boxwood hedge or pulled up to an iron bistro table.
