Chantilly's dining chair keeps faith with its barstool namesake — the same square-shouldered Louis XVI stance, the same weathered wood turned into slim, fluted legs, each one marked with a small carved rosette where it meets the seat. What's new here is the cane, woven tight into a rectangular back panel that lets air move through a room full of place settings, and the burlap skirt below it, scalloped and tied at the back like something borrowed from a farmhouse kitchen rather than a formal dining room. A striped ticking cushion keeps the seat comfortable through long dinners, while the whole silhouette straddles that line between heirloom and everyday with real ease.
