Inspired by the painted folk art of Scandinavian winters, these reindeer are made from recycled metal, painted a warm Christmas red and then decorated by hand with raised white swirls, leaves and flourishes you can feel beneath your fingertips. One stands tall with his head held high, while his companion bends low to graze, both on long, whimsical legs beneath dark, branching antlers.
Display them together on the mantel with white candles and greenery, set them on a wood board with a few bottle-brush trees, or let them anchor a red-and-white tablescape of gingham, knits and paper stars.
